We are thrilled to announce that the 11-3 Head coach for the 2018-2019 season is Basimah Popescu!

Basimah was the 2018 Head Coach at West Forsyth HS Middle School Feeder team A and a Volunteer Coach for A5 youth teams 12 and under and Fridays at 4! We are excited to bring Basimah in as a Head Coach in our youth program. Basimah has been involved in volleyball since she was in 3rd grade, she went on to play and be a Team Captain at Junior College, she counited to play intramurals at Northern Illinois University, and still plays as an adult in many indoor and beach adult leagues.

Has been around the sport for about six years now, she played Varsity two years at Etowah High School where her team went to the Final Four and Sweet Sixteen. She is currently coaching for Kennesaw State University’s Club Team. Kacey is excited to be involved in youth volleyball and being able to share her knowledge.
